Environmental

Sub Committee Members:

Evan McDougal Airport Manager at Sanford Regional Airport is the Chair.

David Guadalupe from Hoyle, Tanner & Associates is the Vice Chair.

Environmental Committee Charter

PURPOSE: The Environmental Committee shall meet as needed (ad hoc) to perform the following specific duties: 

    a.  Collect and disseminate information important to its membership in relation to Federal, State and local environmental laws, rules and policies that impact airport operations and construction.

    b. Participate in the State rulemaking process and coordinate the Board on issues that require immediate attention.

    c. Advocate to Federal, State and local government agencies on airport environmental issues as directed by the Board.

COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP: The Committee shall be composed of volunteers from the airports and consulting firms who are members in good standing with the Association. 

COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP: The Committee shall nominate a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson to the Board for approval. The Chairperson shall be an airport manager/director. The Vice Chairperson shall be an airport manager/director or representative of a member consulting firm.

TERMS OF OFFICE: The Chairperson and Vice Chairperson shall serve a minimum of one-year terms. Terms shall be extended as needed to prevent loss of continuity between the Chair and Vice Chair.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS: The Committee shall meet as needed to meet the needs of the membership.
